C++ Developer for mobile games (limited contract / Part-time possible)

Your mission
We are looking for a talented Game Developer to join our passionate mobile game team in Graz, Austria. You will develop an exciting unannounced game, potentially the next hit in its genre, with the possibility of working on live-ops after its release.
 
In particular you will:
  • Implement game features in the team and on your own
  • Implement UI and visual effects programming
  • Develop clean, elegant, well-commented and reusable code, easy to maintain and extend
  • Optimize the game to run smoothly on mobile platforms
  • Participate in prototyping new game features
  • Work with our internal game engine, developed in C++
  • Work with SDK of third-party services
  • Cooperate closely with our art and design teams to implement their visions
Your profile
  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science.
  • You have strong practical knowledge of C++ with relevant professional experience.
  • You have a good understanding about 2D/3D rendering (camera / transformations / textures / shaders) as well as mobile platforms and hardware
  • You are a good communicator, enjoy working in a team and are quick on your feet
  • Ideally you have some knowledge and experience of cloud platforms and related technologies, for example AWS
  • Experience with F2P games both as a developer and a player is a plus

*The remuneration for the position advertised above is fixed by Austrian collective agreement (ST1). The effective salary depends on qualification and experience and may be significantly higher.
